Jeff Lavore, a manager at Lanigan Ryan, has worked directly with owners and presidents of closely-held construction businesses for more than 30 years to provide an array of tax and attestation services. His commitment to learning and serving the construction industry has led to his longtime involvement in the Metro Washington chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, where he currently serves as a board member and as the chapter treasurer. His participation in this organization gives him unique insight into the industry landscape beyond that gained from his daily interactions with contractor clients and connects his clients to the region’s greater construction community.
He regularly performs reviews of company financial statements and assists clients in planning for and preparing their tax bills, from contractors with smaller yearly revenue to those that exceed $100 Million. At every business stage of growth, contractors can rest easy knowing that Jeff will guide them toward best-in-class industry standards – providing financial reporting training to project managers, advice on planning owner exit strategies, and ways to bid on more profitable work.
When he is not in the office, Jeff likes to ride motocross and take road trips with his wife and two sons. His recreational vehicle has gone to many campsites and RV resorts over the past few years, up and down the East Coast.
