Robin Magaha, the firm’s outsourced accounting manager, has played a vital role in developing the department, providing various services to our small business clients. Her experience in tax and attestation work of larger clients, and her natural knack for rooting out pain points, gives Robin a unique perspective on how to build her client’s accounting and bookkeeping departments – factoring in both present and future concerns regarding taxes, audits, and more – to save them time and money.
Robin seeks to form partnerships with business owners in their time of need to create immediate accounting fixes in the short-term, while providing training and other key resources to enable clients to take control of their books in the long-term. She has counseled clients through accounting system setups and conversions, to managing multistate payroll duties, sales tax, and weekly financial reporting.
Clients can expect an honest assessment, clear communication, and informed recommendations from Robin as she seeks to help them develop bookkeeping autonomy. Her experience navigating common startup issues is sure to benefit clients in any business stage.
When she’s not communicating with clients, training colleagues, or working behind the scenes, Robin is spending time with her family and tending to their animals. She often has piglets running around the yard, some of which have even won awards at the state agricultural fair. Although duped into the same fair’s “husband calling” contest one year, she emerged the victor – a fact that her colleagues will never let her live down.
