Introducing Ryan Barnoski

November 5, 2018

Ryan Barnoski, the newest partner at Lanigan, Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C., is an experienced CPA and business adviser who believes that customer service and education are the most important components of his job. Ryan excels at helping his clients grow and develop – he believes in educating and empowering people so that they can make informed decisions now and in the future.

Ryan uses his twelve years of experience working with privately held businesses to deliver customer-focused service, specializing in business taxation and advisory and consulting services. His business acumen and attention to detail impress his colleagues. He keeps up with new trends and developments in the world of accounting and taxation so that he can pass along that information to his clients.

Ryan stays calm in the face of pressure and is the kind of steady and self-disciplined person people rely on. In a crisis, you want Ryan in your corner. His considerate, sincere and observant demeanor reflects the depth of his knowledge and explains why everyone likes working with him.

Despite his low-key attitude, Ryan is anything but boring. Even when his desk is overflowing with work and his phone will not stop ringing, he is a pleasure to be around. You won’t find him muttering under his breath or abusing his keypad in frustration. His dry sense of humor and infectious smile help brighten the office and relax his clients. Ryan’s coworkers can count on his attitude to help make each day a positive one.

Ryan’s work history is impressive. Before joining Lanigan, Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C., Ryan cut his teeth at a large national accounting firm, working in a variety of industries. Ryan has extensive experience spearheading complex audits, reviews and compilations and provides his “large firm” experience and client-centered service to deliver the ultimate value to his clients.

A licensed CPA in Maryland and the District of Columbia, Ryan received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2006. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is also an active member in the Networking and Involvement Committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors Virginia Chapter.

Ryan loves working at Lanigan, Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C. and considers the move to this firm “the best decision [he has] ever made.” Additionally, Ryan considers making partner a career highlight, hoping that this will be the last job he ever has.

Ryan approaches all aspects of his life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. He has been married to Taylor Chapman, an attorney, since 2014, and they are the parents of a beautiful baby girl. Ryan has always loved new experiences, and fatherhood may be the most rewarding one of all – even more so than being a rabid Baltimore Ravens and Virginia Tech Hokies football fan.

Ryan believes that travel and new experiences are far more valuable than material items, so he has visited some amazing places. His favorites are Santorini, Greece, and Positano, Italy. Ryan likes to savor each day and believes everyone should have the same opportunity.

The entire team at Lanigan, Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C. is delighted to have Ryan as a partner. As a company, we only recruit and hire the best people in the field – and Ryan certainly fits into this category. We are certain that this will be a lasting and fruitful collaboration and urge our clients to take advantage of Ryan’s expertise.
