On Sunday, May 22nd, six members of Lanigan, Ryan, joined AGN members from across the country in San Diego, California, to kick start the 2016 North American Regional Meeting of AGN International*.
AGN International, a global association of separate and independent accounting and advisory businesses, provided an extensive array of networking and educational sessions for members to join and participate in. The organization’s rigorous and ongoing standards of professionalism and service shone throughout the many discussions and meetings amongst members, which touched on the latest developments and best practices in the industry.
A few notable sessions of the three-day conference included Estate & Gift Tax Valuations and the IRS, Lease Accounting, Professional Ethics for CPAs, Employee Engagement, and How to Bring Extra Value to Non-Profit Clients & Their Boards.
In addition to the conference’s numerous opportunities for professional development was the warm welcome to AGN’s new North American Regional Director, Kathy Sautters (pictured above, second from right on the top), and grand send-off dinner for retiring AGN North American Regional Director, Rita Hood (pictured above, first on right).
Lanigan Ryan conference attendees, inspired by the dialogue with peers, returned to the firm Wednesday, May 25th, with fresh perspective and motivation to continue striving for growth, both for clients and for firm members.
